About Me

As a User Experience Researcher at Facebook, I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to better understand how people use our products.

Previously, I was at Northwestern University where I completed my PhD in the Media, Technology & Society program, in the School of Communication, at Northwestern University. I was part of the CollabLab: The Laboratory for Understanding Collaborative Technology and worked with Darren Gergle. I also spent time doing research internships at IBM in Cambridge, MA (2010) and at Pew Internet (2007).

I have presented my work at venues such as the International Communication Association and Society for Personality and Social Psychology annual conferences, and published my work in the Proceedings of Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), Computer-Human Interaction (CHI), the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and Psychological Science.
